Anyway, the story behind that one is that we were doing a tour for Calvin Klein (as dancers) and they had different bands, musicians, and other dancers as well, come and do their thing as well. Well, Jonny and his band played on maybe two of the dates we had.
We somehow ended up in his room (there were about a million others there earlier, partying). Jonny wasn't though. He had all these drunken roadies and stage-crew guys in there getting all crazy. I have pics of that as well. So my friend stayed along with me after everyone had left and we just hung out with him until around 3 or 4 a.m. that night. He was very cool (especially for a 16 year old) and he played a lot of songs for me on his acoustic. We started talking about Prince, and he told me he was a fan, and played "The Morning Papers" for me and we sang it together.  I remember though that the next morning they realized that some people had broken into the band's trailor and stolen all his gear from the parking lot of the hotel. All their amps and various equipment was gone.

Disorder Man, I would have been HELLA upset. Gift or no gift. A Les Paul too? Although I dig the Les Paul sound, those guitars are neck heavy as fuck. (I prefer Dean V's). And as far as what Jimmy would do? He would cast a spell on whoever it was that stole the axe. Page would have him crawling around on all fours and shit, barking like a dog. But Page DID have a Les Paul stolen from him. It was his Black Beauty, and it was stolen not too long after this gig (Royal Albert Hall) in '70. He offered a big reward to anyone if they knew anything about it, but no one came forward. He never got it back. For real though, I'm sort of on the fence as to whether Page actually put "satanic" spells on people. I think not. I mean, sure the guy stole some songs from some blues artists, but I don't think he was really an "evil" person beyond that. I think he's had enough bad karma come back to him for his stupid mistakes in the beginning of Zeppelin's career. Just my opinion. This is not to say that he wasn't a total freak, and into some strange shit, but that part doesn't really bother me.
