What's up with the platinum certification? Mjjsource says number ones went platinum. Has it shown that in billboard?

Hey lilgish - The album has shipped platinum although Sony hasn't applied for a recertification yet. Anything with a * means that the shipment information was compiled independently.

???

Cher's been touring America for the past three years. Let the lady enjoy her album sales. They're most certainly deserved, dontcha think?

LOL.

No need to worry. It will happen eventually. Even Mariah Carey and George Michael (who both departed Sony Music on bad terms) had albums in their catalog recertified long after they left.

In Michael's case, it's not a matter of if his catalog will be recertified but when.

Im only kidding, it's just simply amazing that Cher is second to MJ amongst these big artists.

and it's a shame her Living Proof album doesn't sell too well

I totally agree. IMO, Living Proof is much better than Believe and deserved to be alot more successful than it was. I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles for some artist's when they try to follow up a wildly successful album with a "Pt. 2".
