Today Jennifer braved 23 degree weather for an outside performance of her hits on the show. I thought it would be a disaster given the temperature, but the rehearsals paid off I guess. More of the same dance routines and elusive voice. One of her biggest fans met her and sang a line from one of the songs, with a better voice! At ten years old, no less.

Yeah, I saw that. I could bearly hear her singing due to the background singers and vocal tracks. I didn't see the fan out sing her though, I changed the channel after the first commercial break.

When she did her next single with Fat Joe, I was surprised at how little she sang before he came out like a rap machine. It was more his performance than hers. The people who sang along to the new songs were creepy, given that the album came out 2 days ago. And they're her songs.

She's all about studio engineering and over production to make her voice sound good so, at least she's smart enough not to try and sing in public too much.
