i've got to say, though, madge can thank scalpers for her shows selling out. both shows i went to, for which i paid less than face value for each pair of tickets, had delayed start times due to tons of empty seats in prime locations. all of my friends who saw the show in different cities said the same thing. it was so bad that people from the top leels were being escorted down to floor, first level, and pit seats to fill them. i had nosebleed seats at the side of stage and ended up in the pit because there was nobody there.

madonna's tour sold out but only at the cost of touts, not because fans made it sell out.

True, hopefully the scalpers know better next time. Many fans couldn't go because of the rediculous prices the scalpers were going for.

not if they were smart. i paid 70 bucks for the what ended up being the best seats in the house. the next night i paid 50 bucks for fairly decent albeit third level seats.

no joke, though...scalpers got screwed big time! woot! woot!

it was different in toronto. the house was packed, but that's cause madonna hasn't been here in like 11 years.

The hysterics involved with your cult have made me wish I was straight at times. Madonna fans are usually disgraceful.

i think part of the reason she set the ticket prices show was so no scalper or ticket agency could make money off of her. with the prices all ready so high they couldn't go up much more and get a buyer. alot of ticket agency had to sell back their tickets or slash their prices in order to move them.

Ok...I am ready to be shot down...but really ... what is the big deal with Madonna?

I went to see her a few times in the 80's "Like a Virgin" tour and a few others here in Detroit...
but..
I just don't really enjoy her music..style or children's books..

I just don't get it....

Remember the Re-Invention tour?

Look for the a Re-Invention tour documentary to come to DVD in May, 2005.
(They just asked us for permission to use clips from EVITA and DICK TRACY.)

it's called an opinion my friend. everyone has different musical tastes, so i don't see your beef. there is no scientific way to break down a madonna fan's brain to see why they like her so what's the point in asking these questions

And please restrain yourself from jacking this lovely thread unless it has something to do with the topic which is "Madonna's new album." These threads get full and fast too.

thank you
