ANY WAR FANS OUT THERE???? I think they are one of the great underrated superbands of the 1970s. They have a totally unique sound and I think they have aged very well. What do you think?

"All Day Music" (1970)
"Slippin Into Darkness" (1971) "The World Is A Ghetto" (1973) "Me and Baby Brother" (1974) "Why Can't We Be Friends" (1975) "So" (1975) "Don't Let No One Get You Down" (1975) "Summer" (1976) "Galaxy" (1978) "Outlaw" (1982) "Baby It's Cold Outside" (1982) "The Jungle medley" (1982) "U.B.O.K." (1994) "Summer" is probably my favorite War song.Takes me right back to the summer of 1976.But I pretty much like all of their 70s singles. And they did some good stuff in the 80s too....their 1982 album 'Outlaw' is really underrated. They bounced back in 1994 with a strong, consistent album 'Peace Sign'.

Yes. WAR is a fave of mine. "Slippin Into To Darkness" is one of the hardest hitting, darkest, and most realistic cuts to come out of that period. That and "The World Is A Ghetto". SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com
