ok kill me: child being named "beyonce" (sorry for another thread)

I was in the library and all of a sudden I hear this mother yell....

"Beyonce, Beyonce!!" and here comes this little 3 year old saying, "here I come".

I know I said I'm like Beyonce more and more but I don't wanna see a bunch of little Beyonce's roaming the streets.

i've heard someone calling their kid Mariah in a super market once. it's strange when you hear of people with unusual "pop star" names. i bet someone else has named their kid Usher!

That's the Spanish version of the Greek name Arsenios. I don't think that's too wierd

Daquari? falloff
Why name your child Beyonce? You're only setting that child up to be tortured. Since we're talking about bad names, two of the more outrageous ones I've known: D'Miracle and Candi Apple.

That's how it is spelled in our system, it could be intentional. Hopefully not as a coded remembrance of a special night with a special drink.

they were talking about a kid a few years ago named Lemonjello...which of course is just Lemon Jello...so that's what all the kids called him. you know growing up in the hood back in the day, I think 3 out of every 5 mothers put a "D" in front of their children's names to sound more exotic than they really are (of course my middle name is D'Andre, so i should know biggrin )
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

I work in a middle school and in my classes alone I have two Mariahs and one Appollonia. I'll probably have to wait a few years for my first Beyonce.
