Last night I lost my head And fell right back into your love I lay intoxicated while angels circled high above Deep in a perfect moment All at once it feels so right But when I wake I see reality turn back and bite Ah, hah-ah hah-ah Ah, hah-ah hah-ah Ah, hah-ah hah-ah Ah, hah-ah hah-ah Your heartbeats ticking And your cool starts dripping And your tongue tied up on the phone Your backbones breaking And your smooth starts shaking Like you can't stand being alone Your calm starts rocking Little doubts start knocking Like the whole worlds slipping away Attentions killing But the ride is thrilling But you can't help going again What you want is what you don't know Turn me on and watch your ego What you want is what you don't need Stand up when your talking to me Chorus: I can't start giving you up I'm lost without you Can't stop tickin the tock I can't start giving you up I'm mad about you Can't stop slipping it off I can't start giving you up I'm lost without you Can't stop tickin the tock I can't start giving you up I'm mad about you Can't stop slipping it off A girls got to suffer for fashion She knows what her body can do-ooh-ooh She finds a man and she makes it her passion I'm happy trying all the time with a boy like you A girls got to suffer for fashion She knows what her body can do, ooh-ooh She finds a man and she makes it her passion I'm happy trying all the time with a boy like you I can't start giving you up I'm lost without you I can't start giving you up I'm mad about you Chorus: I can't start giving you up I'm lost without you Can't stop tickin the tock I can't start giving you up I'm mad about you Can't stop slipping it off I can't start giving you up I'm lost without you Can't stop tickin the tock I can't start giving you up I'm mad about you Can't stop slipping it off Ah, hah-ah hah-ah (to fade)

"Giving You Up" isn't a bad track but I'm surprised it's going to be a single. BTW, how has "Ultimate Kylie" been doing saleswise in America. Was it worth releasing? Is "I Believe In YOu" a single here?

2 names that should never be spoken in the same sentence: KYLIE and America.

I swear stock aiken and waterman copied Paula 4 Kylie? Paula Abdul track "state of attraction" sounds just like a kylie track but funkier.

Kylie doesn't dance because she actually sings while performing. And SAW was around long before Paula Abdul. All their stuff sounds the same. Thankfully, Kylie got rid of them and made some good music. [Edited 2/19/05 13:16pm]

But she did need to move on and she did it at the right time.

Hey, somebody thought it was a good idea to release "Ultimate Kylie" in America, even though the promotion for it never happened (that I saw, anyway). Hey, at least I got it for only $9.99 at Circuit City, the only store that advertised it.

They should have promoted it, though. Since you seem to really be into her, what did you think of the tracklisting on the first disc. Considering how many times THAT materail has been released over and over agian, it almost isn't worth it for fans. In fact, the "Greatest Hits" CD, which was a big seller, has the essentail tracklisting for her early stuff. Considering she had so many early hits, I don't understand why they only put 15 on there and there are 18 songs from the "modern" era...What are you gonna do?

Well, like most "Greatest" projects, something (from a fan p.o.v.) could've always been better. Such as the inclusion of "Finer Feelings", "Word Is Out". Since it's being 'promoted' as ULTIMATE, I can see why they did disc one. Or they could've opted for something like Madonna's "GHV2". I also think they should've keep the track listing in chronological order according to release. It's a bit "broken" up if you will. Don't get me wrong, I like listening to a bit of the old a bit of the new. But there seems to be no fluidity in the order the tracks have been listed. Nothing should be called "ULTIMATE" unless it really is! An ultimate box set from MADONNA or KYLIE would be nice though, ***HINT HINT***!!

Nothing wrong in that. Man does anyone on here not like Kylie? U know I rant on about why 80's cheese gets ragged on and modern shit don't as much. Kylie is pop.....Stock aiken waterman were crap though. I hate that 80's cheese.

I hate that 80's cheese. Spinning Around is camp, not cheese. Your Disco Needs You is both. I love your definitions of things. If a song is about love and commercial sounding, it's cheese? So, basically, that's every pop record ever made. Uh, no. This reminds me of your definition of pop music. "If it was popular, it's pop." Okay, then.... Late 80's / early 90's cheese gets ragged on because it hasn't stood the test of time. But this is the time period you love (are obsessed with?), so maybe you don't see it.

Jeez. ...or should that be 'Cheezus'? But have to say, TOTALLY DISAGREE with the last part of your comment. That may have been the case some years ago, but it's certainly not the case now. She is very much in control. I've never gotten why people diss pOp music so much - like it's the sheer work of the debbil or sumthin' Lighten up - it's JUST pop! *just for the record, this final closing statement from bananacologne in no way reflects upon or is directed at TheSexofIt, and in no way endorses a belief in the occult. What's up with all this KYLIE vs. Paula Abdul? I've read other forums that have endless topics on it. She co-wrote a song; "Spinning Around"...OK! But I think it should end there.

I thought mkaing it chronologically might have worked better. And the exclusions off the first disc were just way too numerous considering almost everything from the last half of her career that was a hit was included (except for, oddly, "Some Kind Of Bliss", which I think is a great track that for some reason doesn't always get it's due on her hits sets). "Ulitmate Kylie" could have been more ulitmate but wasn't bad. I think the reason they didn't go for a "GHV2" is because they released that "Hits+" CD...so what would they call the set? And should they include the stuff off both "Kylie Minogue" albums?
