Old TV music variety show from the 70s... I got a DVD boot that was a copy of a show (or shows) that aired on the Trio cable channel. The series was called "Hot Summer Nights" and it featured accoutisc performances from legendary artists from the 70s (kind of a precursor to MTV Unplugged). This DVD has live/accoustic performances from Cat Stevens, James Taylor and Neil Young - it's pretty great.
Anyway - the TV show that originally aired these performances doesn't look American (and all we had going was the American Bandstand lip-sync ) - It's possibly a British TV show? Canadian? Does anyone know what original show from the 70s that this might be from? VOTE....EARLY | |
