"Half and Half" Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis Music Competition.

The current season of "Half and Half" features a music competition from real artists that submitted tapes to the fictional Delicious Records, the winner to have their debut album produced by Jimmy and Terry. Tonight they picked the winner, but did you agree or disagree with their decision?

I tried to watch but the competitors in my opinion don't have any talent. So half way through the show, I turned it off.

It was tough to get through--totally hated it but I was curious. I thought Jam Balaya was going to win especially after J&L made the point of saying that Tiffany & Serena did not sound as good as they did earlier. Maybe they picked them because they thought they were the best for their production? They said that nobody out there sounds like them but the one girl who sang lead reminded me a lot of the chic from Floetry with her vocal stylings. Other than that the show sucked.

Damn I almost feel bad. I thought the talent was pretty tight, especially the Usher wannabe. He could sing very well. A lot of the female vocalist sounded radio-good. They weren't geniuses but they definitely sounded good.

They were all pretty talented. I thought if they didn't pick Jam Balaya they'd pick Yasmeen. Girl and guy combo were my least favorite. I just think that sort of duo gets limited quick and already you could see she was fading into the background which I think Terry mentioned. Be interesting to see what actually happens with the winning duo. Will we actually hear a single or will they disappear... but the show as a sitcom episode sucked. It was more like a reality show for night and I hate reality shows. Except for America's Next Top Model. boxed

That is true the whole talent show concept really threw me off. I miss Dee and Phyllis jabbing at each other. (o;
