My first concert was............ Mine was hammer when I was 6 or 7, though I barely remember it.
Heres the tourbook:- I cannot remember the opener but I later learned it might of been boyz to men or Jodeci or even both? Anyone help me out? [Edited 2/28/05 2:24am] [Edited 2/28/05 3:00am]

I remember when i was 5 years old and Madonna was coming to town with her Blonde Ambition tour.
At the time we were living with my grandparents, and my aunt was still pretty young in high school and always listened to Madonna. I remember loving to listen to Madonna with her. Anyways i remember my aunt saying she was going to see Madonna and i wanted to go too. So i asked my aunt, and she said i may be a little too young to go. Then i asked my mom and she just yelled "NO!" Later that day my dad explained to me that Madonna was a very evil woman who was going to hell (i grew up in a strict Christian household) If i remember correctly, he said to me that she dances naked on stage..... silly fool I remember being really upset when i found out i couldn't go and i even cried my my aunt left that day to go see the show. Well, that was the same day when she was going to be arrested in Toronto for her masturbation scene during Like a Virgin. The story has a happy ending in which i ended up going to the Re-invention Tour with my aunt last summer.

For some reason I can't remember for sure, but I believe it was in the year 1987 or 1988 to see Luther Vandross or New Edition. One or the other was first. If only I could find a ticket stub. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

Since I came from a musical family it is hard to say when I first saw a concert. But my first exposure to a live concert by a profession famous act would be Al Green in 1969 at the Spectrum in philly. All I remember about the concert was that I was very impressed with the awesome live sound.

I mean, I can seriously see that guy working on his hair for about an hour and a half as it gets taller and taller with a whole can of Aqua-Net Extra Super Hold (in the white can). "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
