Last song you will ever hear,,,

If you were told that you were to die soon, and you had the option to listen to one last song, what would that song be?

My choice would be Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsies - "Power of Love".

Hmm, that's sort of depressing and I feel like I'm going to hex myself by replying (If you don't hear from me again by next week, you'll know what happened) confused but, I guess it would have to be....

The Rain Song or That's The Way - Led Zeppelin

Lover, You Should Have Come Over - Jeff Buckley

Carey - Joni Mitchell

Angel - Hendrix

I can't just pick one.

Well, not that I'm afraid to die or anything, but I always have the experience of once I say something, it happens. doh! So, that's why I think I just jinxed myself. lol

Or "Lullaby" by Siouxsie And The Banshees.

Highwayman - the highwaymen

and when i reach the other side,...I'll find a place to rest my spirit if I can...perhaps I may become a highwayman again,...or I may simply be a single drop of rain,...but i will remain, and I'll be back again and again and again...

that's basically how I look at life (and death)...
It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis!

Not to get overly morbid here, but I played John Lennon "Happy Xmas War is Over" for my Mum before she died...it was her favourite song of all time

Isn't that just a mistitled live rendition of Power of Soul?

Anxiety

i so totally cannot even possibly begin to answer that question. just thinking about it freaks me out. i'm not afraid of dying, but i guess i am afraid of the scenario that i'd be listening to a song with the knowledge that it would be the last song i'd ever hear. that's some freaky shit.

RocknRollDave

If I'm gonna get to listen to it all before I die, I'm gonna need to pick a very, very, very long song nod

Maybe one of those long jams, like a Grateful Dead improv of something, that lasts like DAYS nod

Either that or Keep Yourself Alive by Queen, just to die with a smile on my face big grin

This one's easy. Well depending on where I'm going.
Like if I'm goin' down there to sizzle...
It's gotta be anything by Josh Groban. It will make the transition that much easier.
My only fear is that Josh will be playing there as well.

Maybe I better start being good.

Naw, that would just make me violent, or at least violently ill. I'd rather not be punching shit or puking my guts out while I'm on my way out.
