In the months and weeks leading up to a new Madonna album,there are always tons of rumors,fake tracklists,and silly misinformation being reported by so-called "insiders".Remember in 2002,we were hearing that Maddy was working on a rock album to be titled 'Rock Vanity'? LOL,it looks like the crazy rumors are spreading this time too.Let's use this thread to report any news that is circulating.Here is what we have heard so far...



***RUMORED TRACKS---

"You're The One"
"If You Were Here"
"I Love New York"
"Liquid Love"
"In An Instant"
"Haunted"
"Goddess"
"Imagine"


HERE'S THE SCOOP---It has already been revealed that two of these titles---"Haunted" and "Goddess"---are fakes.In fact,these songs are from another artist's album (Poe's 'Haunted' CD)."Liquid Love" is a William Orbit collaboration from 2000;supposedly,Maddy wants to re-work this song and include it on the album."If You Were Here" has been described as a hot dance track.The song known as "You're The One" will actually be called something else;the current title is tentative.As for "Imagine",it seems highly unlikely that Madonna will include it on the album.I heard that a studio version exists,but I can't "imagine" her using it.Remember in 2002,there was a rumor that she recorded a version of David Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust"? And obviously,that never appeared on 'American Life'.So far,nothing is known about the other two songs---"I Love New York"and "In An Instant".The lyrics for the latter were posted on at least one fansite,but who knows if it's the real thing?


***RUMORED PRODUCERS---Stuart Price,Patrick Leonard (as songwriter),Martin Gore,and William Orbit for one track.Other names have been mentioned (Basement Jaxx,Goldfrapp,even Mirwais,lol),but those names are highly unlikely.I think Maddy is just recording demos right now with several different collaborators,experimenting and trying to see what works and what doesn't.All of these producers and their songs won't be used.I predict she will soon decide which producer will be the main collaborator,and discard the other songs.These days,she likes to have only one main producer for an entire album.



***FIRST SINGLE AND VIDEO---Not that they're the most reliable source,but the Sun has just reported the following:

"The mother of two is also working on her as-yet untitled album,and is already planning to have a karate theme in the video for the first single from it"

I have to pass off a lot of these rumors.
The karate theme video rumor was inspired by the fact Madonna is taking karate lessons and so is her daughter.

Has there ever been a case where the rumor actually turned out to be true?

And even more important is the reinvention dvd, i've waited too long. I need it now

"If You Were Here" and "Haunted" are the songs from Poe's Album. She doesn't have a song called "Goddess."

and "If You Were Here" by Poe is a slow song.

And I think Madge looks hot in that picture, even though I think her and Prince are really starting to get boring.

i can say, in my expert opinion of watching internet rumours spread and grow prior to the release of a new Madonna album every time in the last 10 years, that all of these titles, and most of the producer information is going to turn out to be fake.

it won't be until 2 months before the release of the album that you actually know anything factual about it.

I'm hoping that the Patrick Leonard and Martin Gore rumors are true; they both could help her craft a record up to her old standards. Her last two albums have been lacking in the lyrics department.

Forreal I don't want to hear any guitar on her next record, unless it's latin-tinged or something fun.

I think the karate thing in the video will happen. Demi Moore is really into karate too.

Maybe it can be about Kaballah Karate while they are drinking a Kaballah Red Bull.
