I LOVE TONEX!!! ESPECIALLY HIS LIVE BOX SET AND THE FIRST TIME I HEARD HIM SINGING PERSONAL JESUS. THAT BRUTHA TEARS IT UP!! He brought the house down with Sheila E at last year's Stellar Awards on Channel 9. I pray he wins those nominations because he's great and he deserves it!!! I was telling people last year here on the Org that Tonex is like the Prince Rogers Nelson of the contemporary gospel music scene.
He to me, is generating the same kind of controversy and excitement that Prince generated when he first came on the scene.The dude got tons of albums already locked up in his vaults and I look forward to hearing his underground album Stereotype this year. Hope he releases Circu$$ in the near future. I see lots of success for this brother. It's just a matter of time before he takes r&B by storm in the same way..Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin and Kirk Franklin did. He is definitely a talented and anointed brother of God.
