Nothing they've done comes close to the brilliance they displayed on In Search Of... There simply isn't a bad track on there - Provider, Am I High, Lapdance and - best of all - Bobby James are some of the best songs I've heard in recent years. Doesn't hurt that they have a great band, Spymob, doing the instrumentation for them. I like tracks like Britney's I'm a Slave 4 U and Kelis' Rolling Through the Hood, but even they don't come close to that hotness.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
And now that I'm listening to In Search Of... again, I might have to say that Truth or Dare is their best track.

In Search Of.. is one of the most brilliant albums that Ive heard this decade and Spymob is awesome as well. Ive seen them live twice. N.E.R.D. is an awesome band to see live as well. Ive been a fan since Lapdance w/ Vita and Lee Harvey! Hey, remember Vita's remake of Madonna's "Justify My Love"? Spymob's website http://www.spymob.com [Edited 2/17/05 14:51pm]

It's nice to have some good music coming out of MN again.

My favorite, all time, is "Allure."
"Change Clothes" "Frontin'" "You Don't Have To Call" "Rock n Roll" "Drop It Like It's Hot" I don't hate on Neptunes too much, tho Pharrell can be quite insufferable in the videos at times. BTW: any of y'all heard the "Frontin' on Debra" remix of Beck's classic "Debra" from Midnite Vultures? Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
