I'm listening to The Bends again. The Bends is awesome. I even like Kid A better than Ok Computer. Who thinks the Bends is a better album? The songs are so dope. Oasis was completely eclipsed at the time.

I'll never forget picking up OKC in the summer of '97 and just being blown away by the sheer grandeur of the songs. There is so much going on underneath the whole album that I'm still picking up on things I've missed. There are many recent albums that I think are critically overrated (Rush of Blood, Speakerboxx/Love Below, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot), but I think Computer deserves every complement it receives. Plus, I think Bends has at least one skip-worthy song, and the only thing I'd skip on OKC isn't really a "song" per say, more of an interlude or a segue.

OK Computer is amazing but damn it's depressing. More so than most other Radiohead stuff. U really need to be in the right mood to listen to it. I wish they'd stop releasing their albums in the summer months.

I'm new to Radiohead, but OK Computer is the album that made me go buy all the others. It's my favorite. The Bends might get cashed in for store credit

The Bends is a great album. There's some really cool stuff in there.
I love "Street Spirit", "My Iron Lung", all those tunes. I really dig the whole album.
That said, I gotta say that OK Computer is not great. It's friggin' phenomenal. I didn't even pick it up until the Summer of 2000, but it became one of my favorite albums of all time after about 2 or 3 listens.
I also share the same experience as my girl, CalhounSq. Ok Computer is the album that made me buy the others. It's perfect for an hour-long drive, too.
Anytime I go from Columbus to Dayton, I pop that sucker in and get lost.

The Bends is good but OK Computer is melancholia perfeted, but what do you guys think of Amnesiac?, I really like the electronic feel of it

But several notches below OK Computer, in my opinion.
