sassy's song of the day or further examples of how tori pumps my p***y hoochie woman
hoochie woman hoochie woman hoochie woman I wasn't thinking My head was in the book His hands were on her everywhere I saw his face I dropped my coffee He's cheating on me with a Hoochie Woman Ooo hoo hoo you can Keep your Hoochie Ooo hoo hoo you can Keep the house ooo hoo hoo And the bank accounts 'Cause boy I bring home the Bacon I went to work and the office girls Were all burning their poetry It wasn't good But in the neighborhood Now they're all just a Hoochie Woman Ooo hoo hoo you can Keep your Hoochie Ooo hoo hoo you can Keep the house ooo hoo hoo And the bank accounts 'Cause boy I bring home the Bacon I said boys I bring home the Bacon now He called me up And said "she has needs" I said "you'll find 'em On Barney's fourth floor" He said "I need a loan" (I said) "that's not a problem You better keep this from your Hoochie Woman" the "do i have enough edits yet" edit? could this be an obvious comment on the state of females in pop music today?
"I went to work and the office girls Were all burning their poetry It wasn't good But in the neighborhood Now they're all just a Hoochie Woman"

I hope to one day, pump your pussy. Until then, yes, I think she's talking about Britney Spears types... Oh yeah, you like her too...

Until then, yes, I think she's talking about Britney Spears types... Oh yeah, you like her too... i think, yes, she's talking about that type but i don't think she's being terribly judgmental. remember, tori was (sort of) one of those girls back in the day. that whole y can't tori read thing was just a mess. i think she's making a comment on the whole "bra burning" type of feminism turning into the madonna-esque "i'm a sexual, powerful woman" kind of feminism.

the song or the cd or both? the album has a bunch of instant tori classics but there are also a bunch of songs that will need time to pu their roots down. so far sweet the sting, orange knickers, general joy, mother revolution, witness, ireland, the beekeeper, hoochie woman, and goodbye pisces are swirling in my head like a nice glass of red wine. sleeps with butterflies, jamiaca inn, parasol, and martha's foolish ginger are slowly growing on me. the rest are just kind of there. they'd have been better as b sides, i think. all in all, i'm loving the cd and can't freaking wait for the tour!

Sweet the Sting reminds me a bit of Purple People and Bachlorette.

I know. But I figured if there was one, ticketmaster would have it listed. I guess not. It looks like it wouldn't have made a difference anyway since you weren't able to get any. How'd it go with Chicago?

How'd it go with Chicago? not a damned ticket to be had! it was very sketchy...at 12:57 they weren't on sale yet. at 12:58 they were all sold out. the presale wasn't scheduled until 1 so you figure that out. if its this hard during the regular onsale, i'll be visiting ebay at 10:01am on saturday morning.

How will you get front row seats? Let me know if you find anything killer for Detroit too.

Let me know if you find anything killer for Detroit too. i will buy them from a scalper, lol. for pele i was at the back of the theatre. since then the furthest i've ever been at a tori show was 11th row and i never want to experience that again. there was a period where i HAD to have 1st row...and i always ended up with it. it seems like that period is having a rebirth, lol.

Shit, I haven't even seen her since Pele. I feel like an ass for missing the Choirgirl club date, but I just wasn't into that album at the time. Who the fuck knows why? But most of the shows since then have been at large venues and I just can't get with that. I'll do it for Madonna or U2, but not Tori. I guess I'm spoiled by the early, smaller shows. I may have to go the scalper route as well.

yeah, those big shows were hard to get into if you weren't up front. kinda lame that ever played arenas...and they actually sold out. i'm glad she's been back to theatres the past few times around.

Did you go to the Choirgirl club tour? What was it like? i did. i went to the one in philly at the electric factory. it was my first ga tori amos show and even though it was small it was kind of weird. i mean, i shouldn't be standing up through a tori amos concert, ya know? anyway, we were right in the front at the gate and the cd wasn't out yet so she was talking to people about the songs and how they came about. when the big arena tour came about there was little to no talking during the show which really sucked (but how could she talk to anyone from 20 feet away?).
