Elvis Discography ?

hey

can anyone tell me where i can find a discography of elvis presley, including (if possible only) the official albums (studioe albums) he released. the market is so full of cheap compilations and live tracks thrown together you can't tell what's what anymore.

thx

It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis!

here's a sessionography: http://www.elvisrecordings.com/

here's a discogaphy: http://www.geocities.com/...Albums.htm
http://www.leninimports.c...disco.html

if you're looking to BUY things, i'd suggest the Complete/Essential Masters box sets.
The King Of Rock & Roll: The Complete 50's Masters.
From Nashville To Memphis: The Essential 60's Masters.
Command Performances: The Essential 60's Masters II (movie tracks)
Walk A Mile In My Shoes: The Essential 70's Masters
plus either of the 2 gospel collections (one's 2 discs, the other's 3)

and that's pretty much everything you're going to need or want. plus, each comes with extensive liner notes, discography and sessionography.

An official Elvis catalogue would be an absolutely mammoth task for someone to undertake. omg

Aye! I thought Frank Zappa's catalogue was expansive with over 60+ albums. I think Elvis's catalogue even tops that. And by some distance!
