Disco/Funk 70's Track Of The Day: Narada Michael Walden- I Don't Want Nobody Else To Dance With You(1979) OOOO WEEE ....This song used to be the jam back in 1979. You can't ignore that funky bass riff on the intro. Narada went on to have big success as a producer in the 80's producing pop stuff for Whitney Houston and a few others...But back in the late 70's and early 80's, he was getting funky like this..
Alot of girls would to do a popular dance back in 1978 and 1979 called the "Patty Duke" off of a song with a groove like this...Do you remember that dance UptownDeb? Brother 9/15 [Edited 2/22/05 4:38am]

"Put The Music Where Your Mouth Is" (Olympic Runners?) was the cut for gettin' your corners on! Before it was called the "Electric Slide" around my way we called it something else. I think it was the "Broadway."
