Disecting Tusk...

Favourite Side:

Side One because it has The Ledge and Sara

Favourite Moments:

The Ledge, Sara, Storms, Sisters of the Moon, Brown Eyes, Walk a Thin Line, Tusk

Star of the album:

Stevie Nicks

I know Buckingham dominates the album with 9 songs and the title track is nothing short of genius, but I say Nicks for all 5 of her songs are incredibly strong but the first 3 would be enough (Sara, Storms, Sisters of the Moon). Anyone for McVie?

Overall it's an exceptional album with not a single bad track (imo). Quite a feat for a double album.

Best album they ever made. All three writers were on top form. Sadly their music became a little too safe after this release. Buckingham had to deal with a lot of harsh comments about his work from the other band members because Tusk failed to match the sales of Rumours, but he was more interested in the 'art' than the 'demographs'. He was right, too.

No,I think their best album is the self-titled release from 1975 hmph!

But 'Tusk' has it's moments.

lol Okay, fair enough. I must say that Lindsey's vocal is a little tame, tho'. He always seemed to add more passion to it when they played it live.
