Peace,

worship Ay what a tune, that tune is funk central. Shame the 'Movin' On' album is the only CD I cant find of 70's Commodores. Rare as hell.

That mid 70's Commodores stuff has great memories for me as my Dad used to play their first 5 albums in the car ALL the time when I was about 6 or 7 years old. 'Mule', 'Gonna Blow Your Mind'(From 'Machine Gun' LP) & 'Look What You Done To me' (From 'Caught In The Act'LP) are just 3 of my fave Commodores all time funk monsters.

Whatever musical crimes that Lionel has committed over the past 10 years or so I for one totally forgive him - he's done more than enough for the 'funk bomb files'!! lol
The Funk, the whole funk & nothin' but the funk, ya dig?!

Don't forget Slippery When Wet (the song that got me into the Commodores), Fancy Dancer and I Feel Sanctified.

Whew!

I recently spent a small fortune on an import CD of 'Hot On The Tracks'.It's a damn shame that their albums from the 70s are so hard to find on CD! Good thing that I still have a turntable.I've been able to find these albums on vinyl.
