Is Dave Chapelle like the funniest comedian or what?? there's no way he should have lost the emmy to the "daily show". The daily show and Jon stewart suck compared to 'Chapelle's Show"

what a depressing question. i'd have to agree, but i think it's the lesser of two lessers. it's really frustrating to study at second city and see so many really funny, clever, creative people with fresh ideas, then turn on the TV and see so many tired, bloated, uninspired skits produced by people getting lots of money, ostensibly because they excel at making us laugh. i'm hoping that SNL has another 'renaissance' like they did when they brought on molly shannon, cheri oteri, will ferrell, etc. - i think even tina fey is ready to be put out to pasture these days, and i used to really idolize her for how smart her writing was.

I thought that skit was hilarious! It's one of my favorites of his but overall, I think Chris Rock is funnier. His jokes are a little more thought provoking though he can be dirrty too.
