¤ M I C H A E L J A C K S O N ¤ "Liberian Girl" 
His best song? 
This is probably my favourite song by Michael Jackson. Well along with "I'll Be There" and "Ben". Little Michael Jackson (Jackson 5) was the stuff!  Anyway. I love all of it, music,vocals, lyrics. Wasn't there a video with a bunch of celebrity cameos? I think it's on the "Moonwalker" video right? I never knew the song was officially released as a single (see pic above.  ) ... Are there any mixes to it? Anyway what do you think of this song?

It's the epitome of smooth. Definitely took a while to grow on me, but it's become one of my favorite songs on Bad.
BTW, it was only a single in some territories. It wasn't a single in the USA. I'm the first mammal to wear pants. | |

Some cool info about the single: -European, Japanese, Australian releases -B side was "Girlfriend" ("Get On The Floor" was also included on the 12'', while "The Lady In My Life" was tacked on to the UK CD5) -there were no label-commissioned mixes aside from the album version, and the 7'' version, which was an edit (3:39) -Ben Liebrand remixed the song for DMC in 1987; the mix runs 7 minutes Here's a better pic of the cover:  [Edited 2/10/05 21:25pm] | |

i love this song....i wish he would sing like this again..without all the hiccups..why do artist rely on vocal trickery as they progress?

It's ridiclious, isn't it? Mike's growls, grunts, and hiccups have really gotten excessive, and the less said about Madonna's vocoder, the better. I'm the first mammal to wear pants. | |

not his BEST slow jam but a very good one. Arguably his best slow jam is "Human Nature".
But ENOUGH about Thriller....Liberian Girl was a nice song, cute video and a cool vibe thrown thru the song. I heard it sampled a time or 2. Most noteably by Xscape I believe. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I don't like it much. The weakest BY FAR off the "bad" album.
"speed demon" however is the bees knees. How funky is that song? The video is funny as u get to see all these b list hollywood stars with their mullets etc.....then michael does the cheeseiest thing and says "thats a rap".....man how cheesy. I think Corey feldman is in the video.....he is testifying against him in the trial. | |
