Nelly: Sweat/Suit Sorry if I've missed this thread already....
 
Listening to this right now. Very enjoyable. I'll be honest and say that I have no idea who this 'Nelly' guy is, but this is a very funky little album. It's early days for my decision, but someone was once asking about the new Marvin/Stevie/Smokey etc... in another thread. I dunno 'bout that, but this stuff is fun! | |

never liked his style at all,
all those "e.i e.i" noises annoy me.. i did see his video on tv with the country western singer, i was shocked.
why does he think he can soaway with mixing any genre of music is beyound me. its quite big headed really. i mean i understand prince mising with different genres but atleast its his own style and creativity. Nelly just remixes and recycles ballad after ballad. | |

Seems like his vocal range consists of 2 tones only ,
although listening to the last song i think it may have expanded However , it's still nothing but emotionless , overcommercialized crap , imo (sorry , can't even call it music) [Edited 2/20/05 11:36am] | |
