greatest dance video of all time--state your case

based on quiality, scope, original dance moves, and how well it dates in comparison to today's videos, my top 3 would be:

Thriller--hands down the greatest video ever.
Smooth Criminal--see Usher
Rhythm Nation--the definitive JJ video...over the top and inspired

honorable mention to Whitney Houston for I'm your baby tonight..poor thing tried. lol
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

Janet Jackson - The Pleasure Principle

She showed that she didn't need an entire troop of dancers behind her, or elaborate sets, or an overblown theme. All she needed to make an incredible video was a room, a mirror, and her moves. bow The Pleasure Principle bow

I don't like dancing that's all choreographed and Broadway looking. The kind of dancing I like is how the girl (I think her name is Robin?) was dancing in Prince's long version of the "Thieves In The Temple" video. She was getting off!!

It's evident that both Michael and Janet have slated the best dance videos of all time.

I'll give the cake to Smooth Criminal though, it was simply sheer brilliance, everything about it....

I like the moves. They are Paula Abdul moves I swear. Some are embarrassing but choreography looks kinda cool now in a way. SOME of the moves are great. The mullet hair dancer is quite hilairious.

Hence the word "generally"? wink

Even Vogue isn't so much dancing as it is posing.
