80's Pop Song Of The Day: Chicago- Hard Habit To Break(1984)

I'm not a big fan of alot of Chicago's 80's stuff, but this is a beautiful record. A great lyric and a superb arrangement
from David Foster who had the midas touch during the late 70's and the entire decade of the 80's. This is from
Chicago 17 which sold millions of copies.

I like that trombone solo in the mid-section of the song....followed by that thunderous synthesizer riff before lead vocalist Peter Cetera comes
back in with the vocals . Greatr stuff!!!!

A great pop ballad from that great Top 40 pop year of 1984.

These guys are often criticized for their 80s ballads, but I like this song.
