Tori on the runway!

The flame-haired American singer Tori Amos captivated the audience at Viktor & Rolf's fashion show held at the intimate Theatre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris yesterday. Swaying wildly as she played a grand piano set in the middle of a stage, Amos, dressed in a kimono with matching trousers and high heels, sang...as models circled around her piano wearing Viktor & Rolf's autumn/winter 2005 collection. (Susie Rushton, The Independent)

yesterday (2 March 2005) tori performed in paris at dutch designers viktor and rolf's fall winter 2005-06 ready-to-wear fashion collection. I don't think tori actually walked the runway but she did play at the piano while other models walked. she premiered "a specially commissioned 15-minute composition set to the biblical words of the Song of Solomon. 'I sleep walked, my heart waketh,' she sang, dramatically..." (Style.com)

i love the krimped hair and makeup (though it is drastically pale and has me begging her to get a tan). i'm also loving the outfit! she is giving fierce fashion in these shots...and those shoes..."girl, where'd ya get those shoes?" in my best andre leon talley voice: this is no joke. this is hot couture. wink

i meant to say that the theme of the show was dreams and fantasy. i think that is why she is so dramatically pale...or "ghastly", as you so eloquently stated. lol

tori loves her some of the 'tox! can't say i blame her...especially after being told she would be washed up by the time she's 40 because she's not young anymore.

she's never looked better, though!

Definitely. It's been so long since I've seen her and my love for her is greater than ever. I made a vow yesterday to not break this Tori streak at least until the show. I've got a new iPod and tons of cd's I want to dig into, but I can't let that distract me from my girl right now. wink

Oh and I watched half of the 'Welcome To Sunny Florida' DVD last night. That version of "Crucify"!! omg

That's most likely because of the new album and tour. I don't recall it being like this on the org a year ago.
