I think it is somewhat immature to demonize yoko the way people do, as was pointed out John Lennon was far from the saint he's held to be, and Paul's domineering megalomania was as much a factor in the breakup of the Beatles as Yoko (yes I said Paul).

Yoko used to let sean sleep around Michael Jacksons. She has never said a bad word has she? My brother who likes John Lennon always says that John would never let "that freak" play with Sean

post'em! I havent seen that yet.

Well 'rumour' has it from many sources that, after his death, John Lennons family wanted him to be burried whereas Yoko wanted him to be cremated. The 2 groups couldnt agree and arranged to meet up to discuss their differences....Yoko promtly arranged for cremation the day before they arrived.

Thats what Ive heard from many places and fans, It might not be true but I guess only family would know that

The thing about that is, who constitutes John's "family"? His mother died, his dad left him before he was born. Only person I can even think of that was close to John from his blood-line was his aunt, who raised him. I think Yoko was probably following John's wishes, anyway.

whatevs. never mind her efforts with keeping john's killer behind bars while holding true to john's anti-death penalty beliefs. never mind the positive things she's said and done. i've noticed that people who hate on yoko feel like they have to commit to it, like it's some kind of investment that allows them to make cheap, easy jokes at parties or whatever. i can't compete with that, so i'll leave you guys to talk shit about an old lady in an internet thread ostensibly created to recognize her birthday.

like she needs your money anyway. lol

I'm not exactly a fan either, but all this Yoko-bashing is in pretty poor taste.

auctioning a photo of her standing in front of a picture John's blood-stained, shattered glasses was in pretty poor taste too.

And you won't find me disagreeing. It's just that I'm sure everyone's got better things to do with their time than rag on an old lady. shrug

Thats a fair enough comment I suppose - Im dont know what famly there was left but I know several John Lennon fans who are fairly mad about it. Having said that, look at the way people on here react to Mayte...I suppose its the same
