True, but from what I've had the misfortune of seeing on TV, the title is about all it shares with Rhythm Nation. Well, the title and the idea of a mini-movie. Of course, we all know that RN1814 was far from the first one of those anyway. [Edited 2/18/05 15:33pm] I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

I like this over the top shit acting stuff that Michael, Janet, Hammer, Puff daddy has done. fun to watch once anyway. But yeah it smacks of "thiller" as he to did that music video a year after the record came out. Which is exactly what Usher is doing. We know Usher was pissed off for not getting his 8 grammies (as if) so he has already lost the "thiller" thang. Whatever that is. Michael tried so hard to top "thriller" (he still does try).....I hope Usher gives up as it will not ever happen again. Michael got seriously sad issues with "thiller", lets hope Usher doesn't develop this meglomainia too

A Clear Channel event...you don't say...
I believe both Tom Petty and Bowie did similar things before even Prince did. I could be wrong.
