Usher Beamed Live Into Movie Theaters


A live interview with Usher will beam into 44 Regal Entertainment Group movie theatres nationwide Monday following a theatrical screening of his 20-minute mini-movie, 'Rhythm City Volume 1: Caught Up.'

In addition to the interview with Usher via satellite - hosted by Lionel Richie - this in-theatre event will also feature a behind the scenes look at the making of the video, plus a live, interactive session with Usher answering questions from pre-selected fans in attendance at movie theatres across the country.

Advance tickets for this one-day event are available at select Regal, United Artists and Edwards movie theatre box offices nationwide and online at www.BigScreenConcerts.com for $10.00. Event day tickets will also be available at box offices or online for $12.50.

Ush Entertainment, Laface Records/Zomba Label Group will release “Rhythm City” along with the behind the scenes footage on a DVD/CD combo on March 8. In addition to the live performance footage, the package also includes the videos for "Yeah!," "Burn," "Confessions, PT II," "My Boo" (with Alicia Keys), and "Caught Up," as well as a bonus CD containing three new tracks.

Now we all know good and well Usher has molded himself after the image of MJ. Now he wants to walk into Prince territory.

But yeah it does sound very familier with the behind the scenes etc.....I love that mini movie. As I have said many times before the look is amazing.

True, but from what I've had the misfortune of seeing on TV, the title is about all it shares with Rhythm Nation. Well, the title and the idea of a mini-movie. Of course, we all know that RN1814 was far from the first one of those anyway.

But yeah it smacks of "thiller" as he to did that music video a year after the record came out. Which is exactly what Usher is doing.

We know Usher was pissed off for not getting his 8 grammies (as if) so he has already lost the "thiller" thang. Whatever that is. Michael tried so hard to top "thriller" (he still does try).....I hope Usher gives up as it will not ever happen again. Michael got seriously sad issues with "thiller", lets hope Usher doesn't develop this meglomainia too
