In Holland there will be a Nirvana DVD release on the 22nd of March.

It's a documentary of the the making of Nevermind and will contain live material laced with interviews with Dave Grohl and Kris Novoselic.

It's called Classic Albums - Nirvana: Nevermind.

There possibly isn't an album in history that is as genre defining as NIRVANA's "Nevermind." Released in 1991, it single-handedly was responsible for the birth of what became to be known as grunge and has gone on to sell over 8 million copies in the US alone.
"Nevermind" was the second album from the Seattle trio and the first on the DGC label (it's predecessor "Bleach" was released on the Sub Pop label). It was produced by Butch Vig (also the drummer for the band Garbage) and mixed by Andy Wallace.

If you have seen any of the "Classic Albums" series, you will know that, rather than the cash-in "contains no original music from the band and is in no way related to the band or its record company" documentaries that do the rounds, they are usually pretty good with a good insight into the recording process.

So, Nirvana fans should probably check this DVD out.

Not dissing Nirvana....BUT

Is there anything MORE to come out? It seems like there is a Nirvana release every year since Kurt bit the bullet. What's really next...an interview box set and DVD? I am always very confused as to the longevity and the allocades this band gets...and they don't have all that much music either. Not that this is a new thing...as Jimi and Janis are still getting releases today.

Tupac's music leftovers are being handled in the same way.

Stuff that has surfaced officially has been treated with thte utmost respect by the people who were actually involved. Which is not always the case with the material of other artists you use as an example.

I have no problems with this release.

Apart from the recent box-set (delayed for almost a decade) there's only been a live cd (Muddy Banks of Wishkah) which is pure adrenalin, simply stunning...and a best of, which let's face it, any band worth their salt has to have one..and that included the brilliant You Know You're Right, previousely unrelesed. So that's 3 releases, all essential.
