I'm still not exactly clear on the full story behind the recording of this album, but I recall hearing that sly was responsible for much or most of the instrumentation. I was wondering particularly lately about the drums as I thought that Greg Errico had left the band by the time this one was recorded and that Andy Newmark didn't join until Fresh. Anyone know the scoop? (anyone who might have a good list of songs that display sly's chops best on his other instruments as well would be appreciated).

sly played everything on Riot including bass..
