She didn't sing it in the clichiec(sp?) operatic sense but rather in a gospel-oriented style.

people who annoint alicia keyes or kanye west or anybody else as the next big thing ought to reference that performance as what separates good performers from legends. it wasn't outstanding in technical value, but the fact that she could pull it off with little to no preparation speaks volumes! you look better on your facebook page than you do in person | |
