If this news is true,it means that we have alot to look forward to in 2005:

***'Like A Prayer' remaster---it was rumored to come out in March, but it now looks like it will be released at a later date.Has anyone heard any news?

***Tour Documentary---it will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May,then it will hit US theatres in the summer.

***New CD---Madonna's new CD is "nearly finished",according to published reports.I predict it will be released in the fall.

***Re-Invention Tour DVD---due in winter 2005,months after the documentary.

Will all of these projects be released? We'll see lol

Two out of four wouldn't be bad. I'd give it all up for "Blonde" on DVD, though...(I say that now...).

Madonna should can the documentry IMHO, because who would actually go to the theatres to see it besides her fans?
Maybe David was right to say put it as an extra on the dvd

I want my Blonde Ambition DVD too, the madonna dvd collection is so incomplete without it. and yes i know Pioneer has the rights to it, but they should be smart enough to know the profits such a thing could rake in. laserdisc my ass!

Madonna c'mon now and be smart

I don't understand the documentary unless it's going to be a small release. Hell, even though a lot of people are familar with "Truth Or Dare", I think it had a very limited release and didn't do much at the box office (proably for that very reason). I wouldn't be shocked if the documentary went straight to TV. She's still Madonna, but another documentary might be overkill.

This is what she should do...

***Release a 2-DVD 'Re-Invention' set.The first disc contains the actual concert. The second disc contains the documentary.Extra bonuses could include the previously unreleased "American Life" video, the "Hollywood" video, and the "Love Profusion" video.Release this set in June, with alot of promotion and fanfare. It will sell millions.

***Release the new CD in winter (November).By then, the hype from the RIT DVD would have died down, and Maddy can focus on promoting the new album.

lol I swear, sometimes I think artists should just listen to their fans more often, lol.

You think. I know!

At the time, I think I remember hearing that Truth or Dare was one of the biggest moneymaking documentaries of all time. However, that was when Madonna was on top of the world; her tour, her album, her persona were all doing big business. Nowadays, she still can be a big success, but I don't think the general public is as interested in the minutia of Madonna's life as they were in 1991.

I agree, release it to TV, or bundle it with the tour DVD. Don't release it to theaters.

It will make indie money if they release it to only select cities (which is what I'm sure they would do).

"Truth Or Dare" made $15 in America (it's widest release was 652 theathers, more than a small movie but a major release), which isn't bad but what is shocking is that it cost $4.5! Someone got paid there! Probably Madonna!

Honestly,I seriously doubt that the documentary will make it to theatres.I guess they could do a "limited release" in select cities (New York,L.A.,the Bay Area,Chicago,etc)....areas that have a large Madonna fanbase. But,at the last minute,I bet they will cancel these plans.

Madonna takes a break in her show to watch the fight breaking out between mini Yul Brinner and mini Tele Savalas.

It just doesn't seem like a money making venture, after a tour that just kind of came out of nowhere and made millions. It doesn't seem like a good idea. I haven't even heard that much about it.

Hold off until January 2006 Madge love, then your Kabbalah-infused yoga dvd will surely fly off the shelves after the traditional Christmas binge.
