Johann, the editor of Madonna's official fanclub magazine ICON has confirmed that the Re-Invention tour DVD has an anticipated release date of late November/ December 2005.

Although no actual firm date is given, this does show that the tour DVD is on it's way. The DVD was pushed back from it's original Spring 2005 release date due to marketing reasons involving the anticipated release of the tour documentary in the summer

Yeah, give us the ultra boring doco for the summer, and keep the great DVD for Christmas. Way to treat us fans, Maddy!

I'd rather have that than this damn documentary she seems obsessed with. Madonna Reality Show was amusing when she was shocking, young, and super-sexy (Truth Or Dare), but I'm not interested in mid-40's Kaballah woman and what will no doubt be her embarrassing on-camera musings. She takes herself way too seriously these days to even attempt this.

once upon time there was a great site where i got a DVD transer of the laserdisc. they did a great job... i had the Video from Japan but the show was plagued by too much wind and no use of drops or curtains and Niki had a ankle injury.

and the video backdrop had all of her videos including the ToD blow job reInvented.

its not she is still doing the orginal Vogue performance over and over... and looking all dated like the Thriller Dance on HIStory tour or the Alright or RN on any tour.

***'Like A Prayer' remaster---it was rumored to come out in March,but it now looks like it will be released at a later date.Has anyone heard any news?

***Tour Documentary---it will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May,then it will hit US theatres in the summer.

***New CD---Madonna's new CD is "nearly finished",according to published reports.I predict it will be released in the fall.

***Re-Invention Tour DVD---due in winter 2005,months after the documentary.


Will all of these projects be released? We'll see

Madonna should can the documentry IMHO, because who would actually go to the theatres to see it besides her fans?

I want my Blonde Ambition DVD too, the madonna dvd collection is so incomplete without it. and yes i know Pioneer has the rights to it, but they should be smart enough to know the profits such a thing could rake in. laserdisc my ass!

***Release a 2-DVD 'Re-Invention' set.The first disc contains the actual concert.The second disc contains the documentary.Extra bonuses could include the previously unreleased "American Life" video,the "Hollywood" video,and the "Love Profusion" video.Release this set in June,with alot of promotion and fanfare.It will sell millions.

***Release the new CD in winter (November).By then,the hype from the RIT DVD would have died down,and Maddy can focus on promoting the new album.


I swear,sometimes I think artists should just listen to their fans more often,lol.

I must say a release date of late 05? I think many of her less rabid fans will have completely have lost interest in the tour by THAT point and she'll end up selling much less than she could've by putting it out quickly.
