Hits You Dislike by Artists You Love I'm not talking album tracks - we could go on and on there - but songs that were chart hits. I've got tons to add, but I'll start off with these two:
Shining Star and Boogie Wonderland by Earth, Wind & Fire. I love every EWF album I own, but I always skip these two tracks. Can't stand 'em! | |

I love both these artists, but man - this is just trashy, not to mention it was released like a zillion times here. If there was ever a record that bugged the fuck outta me - this would be high in my top ten for sure. | |

If I want Beatles rock, I'd rather hear 'Don't Let Me Down', 'Helter Skelter', 'Taxman', 'I'm Down' or 'I Want You (She's So Heavy)'.I'm the first mammal to wear pants. | |

Its a brilliant song. Oh, I don't "hate" any of the songs I put on that list. Stairway is far from a terrible song, but I never need to hear it again. I have odd taste in Beatles music (ie: some of my favorite Beatles songs are 'Long, Long, Long', 'Lovely Rita', and 'I'm Looking Through You'). That particular rock sound that's in all of those songs just doesn't click with me. I'm the first mammal to wear pants. | |

For me, I wouldn't say these are songs I dislike, just my least favorite of their hits: Madonna-Like A Virgin Prince-Party Man David Bowie/Tina Turner-Tonight (for both of them...not suprisingly this doesn't appear on any Bowie comps!) Rolling Stones-Undercover of the Night Donna Summer-Enough is Enough (No More Tears) Cher-Take Me Home (and I like disco and her dance stuff) Lenny Kravitz-Lady More to come! | |
