I'd pay upwards of $500 for this ultimate musician/concert experience

So, what would be the ultimate concert you'd shell out a lot of money for...say more than 500 dollars for? The total dream experience of your favorite musical artist. It's a lot of money..so the experience should be memorable.

Rules...it can be any type of musical experience you want...public/private whatever. It should have living members (I mean who wouldn't pay 300 for John Lennon). It can be a reunion. It can't be combined artists/musical groups. Oh and you can't take up more that 1 1/2 hours of the artists time.

Remeber this is a fantasy...you are shelling out big bucks...what would you want.

Me:

A private concert in my backyard with 20 of my closest friends. Madonna singing her hits with Lourdes doing back up vocals and Rocco on a tamborine or something. I want them to sing the hits with Mommy. Also Lourdes has to sing Lucky Star by herself.

I would've paid $1000 to have a good spot at Dave Chapelle's block party in NYC (including hotel and plane ticket of course lol ) But damn, that was a dream line up!

The Fugees
Jill Scott
Bilal
Mos Def (black star)
The Roots
Common
Dead Prez
D'angelo
Erykah Badu (I think confuse )
Kanye West

I think I'm missing some folks. hmmm But, that would be enough to get me there. smile

I kinda did this already - that is, had my ultimate fantasy concert experience come true. Last April I paid $200 (hey- that's a lot of money for me! lol ) to see the Pixies play their first ever show in 10+ years at the Fine Line Music Cafe in Mpls with only a few hundred other people. (I should also mention, the tix were only sold for something like $20 or so.) It was basically a secret show (as they already had a reunion tour itinerary announced, and playing much larger venues) and tix were announced on sale on the radio and they sold out in about 5 minutes. I found out about it the day after it happened and literally sat down and cried. cry So I got to work and sent out desperate emails all day long to everyone I knew and finally found someone through a friend of a friend of a friend who was willing to part with one ticket for $200.
It was hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had. Well worth the $200 price tag.

For 500 bucks...

I get home after a long day at work. And sitting on either the bed or in an easy chair singing "Jackass", is Beck. His shirt is slightly undone. drool
