It used to trip me out when he first came out and people were saying "That R. Kelly is jamming". I'm thinking, how the hell can he be jamming, he hasn't made one fast song? People have forgetten what the word "jamming" means. If they possibly have that bad of taste, they might call it a "slow jam" but "jamming"...hell no! Remember that stupid song about a jeep? [Edited 2/16/05 3:57am] Yo vainandy, i agree on lack of real uptempos (u know I like cheesy uptempos but also Newjack WHICH WAS FUNKY- though maybe not to ur taste ) but R Kelly's first album had some great uptempo's. u gotta remember "she's got that vibe"? Plus some album tracks off same album were funky too. He wrote some average uptempo's for boyband hi-five too. Personally I cannot B bothered by some1 who just writes slow jams. I only think in terms of good, OK & bad music.

Jimi Hendrix. I know all the vibe about his legendary guitar playing, how he was a revolutionary artist that would inspire so many young musicians for decades after,etc..., but I just don't like his music. There's just something untasteful and unappealing about it. Purple Haze(which was his only hit in his short-lived career) is as boring as watching the Golf Channel at 3 am in the morning, and as far as his other music, I regret the money I wasted on several of his cds and "the Jimi Hendrix Experience" that I bought a while back. Utterly and completely boring. Ok, I'll wait to get destroyed by everyone here. Listen to "Little Wing" (version from "Smash hits) , if you don't like that i question your sanity

Elvis Costello really bugs me. I could never get into him either. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Three or four good tracks can't sustain a career - especially when the best thing about those tracks was the samples used, rather than his arrangement of them. There are two types of Moby record: Type A. 01. The first verse from a B-Side of a Northern Soul classic looped ad-infinitum; 02. Moby playing the same chord over and over on his keyboards, making a noise that I can only describe as "GA-DANG, DA-DA-DANG, GA-DANG, DA-DA-DANG"; 03. Wibbly bits which are created by trying to tune in an AM radio with a dentist's drill. Type B. He strums his guitar very quickly and jumps up and down a lot in an attempt to get the partay started. I hate everything this man stands for, fucking twat, limousine-liberal, vegan-whiner, wannabe-musician!
