Yes!!!! He's so boring, pretentious and has no stage prescense. Dull apart from his liking for tantric sex. (The Police sure kicked ass though, so i forgive him a little)

But, then there are those who give me a visceral fingernails-on-the-blackboard, chewing-aluminum-foil cringe, and a wanna-throw-up repulsion. For starters: Kiss Black Sabbath Peter Frampton Steely Dan Billy Joel [Edited 2/15/05 6:20am] Ooh, I'm gonna get you for listing Steely Dan. But then I can see why some people wouldn't like them..And I also love Frampton. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

(The Police sure kicked ass though, so i forgive him a little) his solo stuff was good up to a certain point. i thought his first two albums were excellent, and i could even understand arguments for 'the soul cages' being a good piece of work. after that, i think he bought a one-way ticket to snoozeville. i saw him twice - once on the 'nothing like the sun' tour and once on the 'soul cages' tour. i thought he had decent stage presence...and he was great in the 'bring on the night' documentary.

Kid Rock---like Lenny Kravitz, this guy is more interested in being a "rock star" than a legitimate, serious artist.
Mase---now that his "comeback" has failed, hopefully this means that we won't get any more albums from him

The same goes for many of my favorite bands. Sometimes the lead vocalist can get on my nerves, yet I love the music so much that I can let it slide. Like Robert Smith of The Cure can get to me sometimes, and hell Robert Plant even makes me want to do this -----> But if they have that raw passion when they sing, and it's sincere, heartfelt, etc. that's all that matters to me then. I love this thread Marrk!!!
Ok Celine Dion: the woman has a great voice, ill give her that. But her songs are just not tolerable. I remember when "my heart will go on," came out and everyone raved about the beauty of the song, i swore i could have hit the rood. And the fact she's Canadian means our country does nothing but ram her down our throats. Lindsay Lohan: Must i really explain? Metallica: im not a fan of heavy metal music to begin with so this is a bit biased. But Metallica being the biggest selling of them all just takes the cake

Count yourself lucky you dont have 'King' Robbie Williams to contend with unlike us poor Brits. I swear we're being brainwashed into making that godawful ballad 'Angels' our new national anthem in the UK. Bloody rubbish he is too.

There are many artists/celebrities that I can't stand to hear or even look at. I feel that they are so overrated:
Madonna (fakest bitch I've ever seen) Snoop Dogg (creepy) Jay Z (same as Snoop) Britney Spears (useless and talentless) Rosie O'Donnell (glad she disappearred) Ashlee Simpson (same as Britney) 50 Cent (nothin but a thug) Celine Dion (just can't warm up to her) Meg Ryan (too cute for me Lil John (yuk) Rick James (creepiest of them all) Star Jones (that woman irritates the hell out of me) Jerry Springer (his show is for losers like himself) LaToya Jackson (complete loser) Kylie (nothing much there, just tits & ass) The Darkness (WTF) Prince Charles (a complete wanker) Vivica A. Fox (what's up with her?) I know there are more, but I'll let it go now.

I've become more centered over the last year or two, and I've tried to let go of using the word "hate" in general and the strong feelings that are attached to it. There are, of course, people I would rather not listen to, but I have no hate for anyone. I'm really, really close to disliking Usher, but mostly I just do not like his music.

The UNholy trinity:
Celine Dion Kenny G Michael Bolton Unfortunately, my fiancee has CDs by all of these! I also detest: Whitney Houston (good voice, crappy songs. Not unlike Celine) Emenim (Sounds like Big Bird on crack) Usher (If he rips off Michael Jackson any more, I'll fully expect a child molestation trial in his future) Oasis (If I wanna hear a band do Beatles rip-offs, I'll listen to Beatlemania) Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. In order of most irritated:
Usher - bought his album and broke it in two in 3 days. Kanye West - overbearing arrogant wack producer who just speeds up samples. Beyonce - the Queen of hoochimamas pretending to be nice and wholesome. Eminem - the most complaining rapper of all time. Any problem he has with his life, he has to put it on his latest album. "Oh my mom did this to me...my girl did that to me...Benzino doesn't like me. BOO HOO HOO!" 50 Cent and all of G-Unit - Just annoying period. DavidEye said: Destiny's Child---Beyonce as a solo act is tolerable, but imo,Destiny's Child is over.Their latest single "Soldier" is R&B garbage, with appalling lyrics ("known to carry big things if you know what I mean") and a stupid message.Admittedly, they were fun and charming back in their "Bills,Bills,Bills" days, but now,the thrill is gone.Get back to those solo careers, girls.
Co-sign to everything you just said, except maybe for Beyonce being a decent solo act. She's equipped with a voice, but I don't like the material she sings or the way she pimps herself, and she straight up irritates the hell out of me. [ Ludacris---there are many thugged-out rappers that I could have put on this list (50 Cent comes to mind),but nobody annoys me more than Ludacris. He represents everything I hate about today's hip hop.
I really, really, really don't want to like Ludacris. But something about him is just so charming to me. I don't know why. The Normal Whores Club
