Bussin' tables, I guess.
Without making stupid puns, the last I heard of them was an album they put out in '88.

The Bus Boys were very cool. Good band and good musicians. They were an L.A. band and was huge out here. "New Shoes" was a great song. I dug them cuz they were "different". Right On! magazine did a cover story about them and Prince in 80. The article was about black new wave artists. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I remember that song.
yeah that chorus is hella catchy. They updated it on "another 48 hours" didn't they? Jesse Johnson had something to do with it? Added all contemporary synths etc?.....I would prefer that version I guess.....

yeah, i remember them. i liked them a lot.
i remember seeing them live twice in atlanta in the early 1980's at a club called the agora in downtown atlanta. the first time i saw them, i went with a friend and we were messing around and he played this pinball machine, and over by the side of the machine, on the floor was a little black leather satchel. as we were there, someone came over the pa and asked if anyone had found a little black satchel, that it belonged to the band. so, we snatched it and went down to the side where the back stage doors were. we were convinced it was full of dope or something. we presented it, and they took us backstage, it belonged to the bass player, kevin o'neal. we met them and hung out for a little while. he was very thankful. he opened it up, and it had like shaving stuff, nothing really valuable, or mysterious. then, about 6 months later they played again, and they comped our tix, and let us backstage again, cool guys. their music was really fun, very good live band. ------------------------------------------------
