I'm a sentimental freak went it comes to Hendrix so it'd have to be...
...the 1st one I heard on Smash Hits. 
It's concise and to the point. However the original recorded version from the U.K. release of Are You Experienced? would run a close second. tA  Tribal Disorder

Isn't the one on AYE in mono and the other version (on Smash Hits) in stereo ?

The guitar parts are also different.
(believe me I know the Smash Hits version note-for-note) And as I listen to it...i'm starting to like the U.K. one better.
