What are the funkiest Parliament/Funkadelic songs?

I'm a huge fan of George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic and I thought it would be fun to discuss what everyone thinks are the funkiest songs by them. Here is my list:

1. Unfunky UFO
2. Funkentelcy
3. We want the funk
4. Standing on the verge of gettin it on
5. Sir nose d'void of funk
6. Don't force it
7. One of those funky thangs
8. Getting to know you
9. Flashlight
10. Stomp

1. "Hey Good Lookin'"
2. "If You Got Funk, You Got Style"
3. "You Scared The Lovin' Outta Me"
4. "Some Next Shit"
5. "Rumpofsteelskin"
6. "Dr. Funkenstein"
7. "Maggot Brain"
8. "One Nation Under A Groove"
9. "Cholly (Funk Get Ready To Roll!)
10. "(Not Just) Knee Deep"

Well, I could go on. I'm an O.G. Funkateer from way back. And then let's not forget the ton of spin-off bands produced by George Clinton.

And of course... "Yabadabadoozie Bubba - Bootzilla's Here! The Worlds only Rhinestone Rock Star Doll-baby Baba!"

Bootsy Collins needs a whole thread of his own up in here! Wonder why we haven't heard any collaborations with Prince and Bootsy? Or is that in the vaults as well? Maybe that would just be too damn funky! Anyway, thanks for bringing back the funky memories FonkyWonder.

Peace,
P-Dogz

I always liked "Pumpin' it Up" on the P-Funk All Stars Ubran Dancefloor Guerillas album, and the entire T.A.P.O.A.F.F.M.S. album

Sort of like asking what Duke Ellington songs swing the most.

But I do think Aqua Boogie is one of the most underrated songs by Parliament, along with the entire Motor Booty Affair album.

shame on me I don't know any Parliament/Funkadelic song , but at the moment in France there's a tv ad with "give up the funk/tear the roof on a sucker" & that song is funky to death

Most definitely SHAME ON YOU J, but now that you're aware, go back and do your research, catch up on what you've missed. If you are a lover of music (and being that you're here, I'd assume you are) you'll be very glad that you did! Why not start your journey here... http://www.drfunkenstein.com

And now, SHAME ON ME, because I've always wanted to visit France, and now I'm terrorfied to get on planes. And I'm a New Yorker, we're supposed to be fearless!

I forgot to mention (Not Just)Knee Deep....all 15.16 minutes of glorous funkenfest smile Thanks PDogz for mentioning that treasure. Parliament/Funkadelic had so many great songs that left a huge print in my subconcious. I listen to them everyday.....their music just gets me in a real good mood.
