I never heard of this man but I have seen a video by him or 2 and they were very good songs.

Im tryin 2 find them damn songs and they not coming up. Does any1 know about him? very good songs..I loved them.

Wow, I haven't heard or thought of Michael Penn in ages. Not since the 80s, I bet. He's the brother of Christopher and Sean Penn.

I remember he did have a couple/few songs out back then that I really liked.

i did have his first album ... "no myth " and i liked it ...

i saw that Wendy (and or lisa ) played on some of the tracks ...

i believe he married the girl from "voices carry" fame and is working with her on her album (s) now ???? not sure ... just off the top of my head ...

Yeah, he's a very good songwriter. Both he and his wife have done work for Paul Thomas Anderson's films: Michael Penn did the score for Boogie Nights and Aimee Mann did for Magnolia.

Oh yes I bought the album tape in... late 1990 I think :nostalgia: very good album indeed - especially the ballads - , with Wendy & Lisa involvement on one track I think and the late Boni Boyer too, M Penn is responsible for the instrumental soundtrack and one song of the Boogie Nights soundtrack too.
