Song of the day: You've Got It Bad Girl

LET'S HOLD...

A prolonged silence in honour of this great Stevie Wonder track from his Talking Book LP.

No, I won't be silent.
Yes, I am a pansy. smile

Maybe Your Baby gets my vote for the best track on there, and probably Stevie's funkiest track!

For a long time I thought he had a steel guitar in "You & I" redface

One thing for damn sure, that song has a HEAVY country music feeling.

Thats Mariah's fave Stevie Wonder song.

BTW is it me or does the WHOLE album has a melancholy feel to it? I sense a depression there,,,

I have a great instrumental jazz version of "You've Got It Bad Girl" by IVAN BOOGALOO JOE JONES on his outstanding album Sweetback.

One of my favorite songs, from the perfect soul record.

I mean, TB has not one flaw, IMHO.

Great song.

I echo the sentiments of the others that have picked Talking Book as their favorite Stevie Wonder release.

Its got just stellar material, the great background vocalists and features two of my favorite guitarists.
(Jeff Beck & Buzzy Feiten)

Lookin' for Another Pure Love is in my top 3 on this record

It's all there.
