dont worry about me , ....... Joey Ramone i couldnt claim to be a mega fan of the Ramones ,... the way i am with the clash, the jam, the pistols , the cure etc (uk punk/new wave) the uk bands rightly were accused of copy'ing the ramones ! (clash/pistols), at the time late 70's/early 80's i bought the following ramones albums,.....
the ramones rocket to russia end of the century leave home rock n roll high school road to ruin its alive ive since replaced em on cd and ive got a few boots aswell !! anyway my point,.... dont worry about me, joey's solo album, is absolutely brilliant ! anyone else got this album? it was one o those albums i kept saying i'll need to get it , i'll need to get it. well i did get it after my memory was jogged by the movie end of the century great docu/film of the bands carear. the cover of wonderful world = classic ! what a wonderful world stop thinking about it mr. punchy maria bartiromo spirit in my house venting like a drug i never did before searching for something i got knocked down 1969 dont worry about me fab album no fillers , nice to see joey return the compliment,... the intro to wonderful world is very pistols ! the tempo of the album is a little slower than the ramones stuff , a LITTLE slower as in a fraction ! but it is great go for it u'll not be dissapointed. | |
