Neil Finn / Wendy & Lisa

Anybody else pick up One Nil, by Neil Finn (formerly Crowded House), featuring Wendy & Lisa? It's currently an import, but will be available in the US sometime in May. I highly recommend it. Heck, I recommend ANYTHING by Neil Finn.

It is a great album indeed.
He did a song for the OST of I Am Sam.
He did Two Of Us by The Beatles (everybody on this OST covered a Beatles song) together with Liam (Finn).
Go check it out. Other artists;
1. Two of Us - Aimee Mann & Michael Penn
2. Blackbird - Sarah McLachlan
3. Across the Universe - Rufus Wainwright
4. I'm Looking Through You - The Wallflowers
5. You've Got to Hide Your Love Away - Eddie Vedder
6. Strawberry Fields - Ben Harper
7. Mother Nature's Son - Sheryl Crow
8. Golden Slumbers - Ben Folds
9. I'm Only Sleeping - The Vines
10. Don't Let Me Down - Stereophonics
11. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds - The Black Crowes
12. Julia - Chocolate Genius
13. We Can Work It Out - Heather Nova
14. Help - Howie Day
15. Nowhere Man - Paul Westerberg
16. Revolution - Grandaddy
17. Let It Be - Nick Cave

Highlights; Ben Harper and Eddie Vedder. Sarah does sumthing beautiful too.

If you liked One Nil, you'l like the OST to Magnolia too.

Thanks for the heads up on that SDTK. I've always wanted to check out Aimee Mann's stuff but kind of hesitated after listening to Michael Penn. Stupid I know, but his CDs kind of disappointed me. I prefer male vocals for some reason.

I'm looking forward to the US release of One All, although I expect it will be a radio-friendly version since they are dumping two of the edgier tracks.

I wish Wendy & Lisa would tour with Neil Finn. They compliment each other in tons of ways. It would be great exposure for both of them too. The music industry in the US is begging for something new and I think they could really fill the demand.

I've always felt that if you follow W&L's work with Seal and Neil Finn you can definitely see they were responsible for the Revolution's complex and rich sound. They brought a lot to the table. Prince's loss I'd say.

I love Crowded House, but haven't been following Neil Finn's solo work. I'm gonna have to investigate. He was the creative force in the group.

Have you heard Seal's duet with French pop idol Mylene Farmer? Is rather good.
