What's it gonna take for Mr. Troutman to get an all-star musical tribute on the AMA's, Grammy's, Soul Train Music Awards....SOMETHING??? Talkbox---Teddy Riley and Stevie Wonder Harmonica on Doo Wah Ditty--Stevie Wonder Shirley Murdock and Charlie Wilson reuniting on Computer Love Prince on goodtar for...well, take your pick George Clinton and P-Funk All-Stars for I Can Make You Dance And, whether I like it or not, representatives of the Hip-Hop nation who kept Roger's funk alive in the 90's!!! A tribute such is this is looooong overdue and would be the stankiest thang to ever come across the tube. Oh, well...it's OK to dream, I suppose. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

It's better to listen their music..... Sometimes those tributes messes things up..... Listen to Roger/Zapp, & that will be tribute enough.....

Let me tell you how that song came to be.
It was originally a Parliament track called "Funkin' Out Of Bounce" that was never released. When Clinton discovered Zapp through Bootsy he put that entire track together including vocalcorder. That was his idea. That's how that whole Zapp sound came about. He owns that record to this day. Roger is seriously underrated, it's sad he was sampled so much and got little props after his demise. His whole sound was unique.

I just love Zapp, they are one of the great examples that me and my mate use for our own music. Roger never really got the props he deserved. Too bad... RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...
