Best ever soundtrack... Saturday Night Fever?

Just listening to this album makes me wanna turn my room into a dance floor. I saw Saturday Night Fever for the first time about 6 years ago and I've seen it a few times since but only today did it dawn on me to go out and purchase the soundtrack..even though it's one of my favourite movies of all time (go figure).

Almost every song is an absolute classic. More Than a Woman (Tavares version) is probably my favourite.

Whatever about the merits of John Travolta, at least he has SNF and Pulp Ficion to his name. Both great movies and great soundtracks.

The one *major* problem I have always had with the SNF soundtrack is the instrumentals. They just don't fit that well with the album and people want the real deal like the Bee Gees.

I'll have to go with the Bee Gees version. It's so dreamy and lush. And Barry's falsetto just shines on this track.

It IS the best soundtrack ever!

But The Bee Gee's version of More Than A Woman is the superior of the two without a doubt. (IN MY HONEST AND HUMBLE OPINION biggrin )
