I'm beginning to think that, sometime in the mid-90's, something extremely and horrifically traumatic happened
to thesexofit and caused him to become mentally and emotionally stuck in time. The Normal Whores Club

I never grew up Seriously though I've said this before, I barely hear music these days, but I've been through my grunge phase and rave phase (that was short lived) and I guess i just hear stuff i use to listen to as a kid in general..... Who knows? Maybe becuase I used to smoke nothing but dope all day (I mean more then usual) made me relaize that my life was shit so I just had to gradually stop and changing from grunge to pop helped? (Hope that doesn't sound heavy handed, thats just my experience)..... Music was ans still is powerful to me though.....

"not your money" was their best cut.....I had special generation too. I just picked up another hammer group One cause effect. One male, on e female rapper. boy is it corny, but funky though. - what an odd cover..... i had no idea he still put out albums every now and again. The last one I got was "inside out". i think that was 1995! that album was a huge letdown.....

Hammer on his own indepandant label now I think.....Vanilla ice did a heavy rock album. That certainly was a change from "cool as ice" and all that..... Did they ever show a hammer concert on TV? I saw him as a kid in USA. I swear Boyz to men were the opener.....back when Boyz to men did newjack aswell as ballads. Hammers father managed Heavy D for a while. I love Heavy D too..... Oaktown 357 were great in some ways as Hammer saw they were dancers who were not slim and good looking in the usual music video way. Hammer was cool like that. His own "fly girls" were not stick figures like "in living color" or whatever. that was good of him to see through that shit!

thesexofit said: Yeah but this is in past tense too I guess.....I c what ur saying though. the music is hard to ignore now it's so dated..... you know i listen to a lot of old skool hip hop like grandmaster flash but i can't really see myself listening to hammer now as it actualy sounds more dated than grandmaster flash's music. i don't know if that makes any sense or not but i still like hammer. he's cool. did you like him on the surreal life. he came accross as a really nice guy who can be cool with just about anyone. even vince neil!

Hammer sucks...
He's a good entertainer (not dancer but entertainer)... Pray is horrible to watch (This mofo fucked up Prince's When doves cry)... Can touch this, his best... Too legit to quit is overproduced...
