I think that's supposed to be her husband/boyfriend.

Mark also directed Johnny Cash's "Hurt". He needs to release his own DVD of videos like Spike Jonze, Chris Cunningham and Michel Gondry.

Yes, this is my favorite video. That's also my fav part, when she's in the confessional. But since enough people are giving it up for Madge I'll give it up for my other girls.

I like the videos people have listed here, but I guess I like creativity as much as anything, so here are my top 5 (in no particular order):

Michael Jackson - Thriller
The video that made music video an art form and not just a promotional piece.

Michael Jackson - Beat It
The choreography in that video was amazing, even though it was a cheesy send up of West Side Story.

Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer
Best use of animation and stop motion.

a-ha - Take On Me
Another amazing use of animation which goes well with the peppiness of the song.

The White Stripes - Fell In Love With A Girl
The Lego effects were absolutely brilliant. I believe this was done by Michel Gondry, who has an artist's view of cinema. He also directed "Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind."

I'm glad somebody mentioned Hurt by Johnny Cash. That video is brilliant. If you don't get emotional watching it, you're made of ice. I was so pissed when it lost video of the year to some rapper at the VMAs.
