1st hip hop song u ever learned all the lyrics 2

I remember being in the restroom with alot of older kids, skipping Sunday school at church and they would all be in there beat boxing and spitting free styles. I was a little putzer back then. I remember how they would challenge one another and display their skillz.

I always wanted 2 b apart of the crew in the restroom trying to compete with the older kids (who had to be about 12 or 13 years old) so my cousin taught me a rhyme that he thought would impress the guys at church and it went like this:

My name is (enter your name)
And I eat a bunch
And my favorite cereal is Captain Crunch
I dont mean to brag
I dont mean to boast
But its your behind that I came to roast
Cause I know Im Bad
And I know Im Good
I'll outrap u outta the neighborhood

falloff Not bad for a 7 year old, huh?

Anyway, what was the first hip hop song that u ever learned all of the lyrics to? The first rap song that I ever memorized was You Be Illin' by Run DMC. Whats yours?

"You Be Illin'" by Run DMC

[Verse 1]

(One) day when I was chillin' in Kentucky Fried Chicken
Just mindin' my business, eatin' food and finger lickin'
This dude walked in lookin' strange and kind of funny
Went up to the front with a menu and his money
He didn't walk straight, kind of side to side
He asked this old lady, "Yo, yo, um...is this Kentucky Fried?"
The lady said "Yeah", smiled and he smiled back
He gave a quarter and his order, small fries, Big Mac!
You be illin'

[Verse 2]

(To)day you won a ticket to see Doctor J
Front row seat (in free!) no pay
Radio in hand, snacks by feet
Game's about to start, you kickin' popcorn to the beat
You finally wake up, Doc's gone to town
Round his back, through the hoop, then you scream "Touchdown!"
You be illin'

[Verse 3]

The other day around the way I seen you illin' at a party
Drunk as skunk you illin' punk and in your left hand was Bacardi
You went up to this fly girl and said "Yo, yo, can I get this dance?"
She smelt your breath and then she left you standin' in your illin'
stance
You be illin'

[Verse 4]

(For) dinner, you ate it, there is none left
It was salty, with butter and it was def
You proceeded to eat it cos you was in the mood
But holmes you did not read it was a can of dog food!
You be illin'

Anxiety

i dunno if this counts or not, but when i was in grade school, the cool thing was to know all the lyrics to the end of blondie's "rapture". we used to pass around cheat sheets at recess and chant that part of the song over and over, and i'm sure we drove our teachers quite insane with it.

but to this day, i know the rap! god bless my public school education!

I memorized the whole Criminal Minded album by BDP and Rhyme Pays by Ice-T.
Two great albums from 1987.
